Heterologies of the Everyday

KlonkCharlotte Klonk, professor of art history at the Humboldt University in Berlin and member of the OCCAS advisory board, gave a key note lecture at the conference “Exhibiting the Every Day”, 19-20 March 2015. The conference is part of the study circle ‘Heterologies of the Everyday’, funded by the Nordic Summer University. Organised jointly by the University of Oslo, NTNU and AHO/OCCAS, the conference gathered 25 scholars from seven different countries, discussing the mediation, collection and circulation of the every day in art, literature and politics. OCCAS PhD Christian Parreno contributed to the conference with the paper ‘Boredom, Space and the Architecture of Waiting: The Minotaur, or the Stop in Oran by Albert Camus’.
